At Martin’s Memorial Church, Prince Edward surprises Ben Maciver, 11, (centre), Rebecca Maciver, 8, and Hector Macdonald, 11, by calling them over to pose for a photo.
Ben Maciver, 11, said: “It was exciting and it was a good day. She asked what we would be doing if we weren’t here and I said we would be in school and Hector and I were both in primary six.
Hector Macdonald, 11, admitted he was “a bit nervous” but enjoyed meeting the Royals as he got time off school. He told them they had “games and Bible stories in Sunday school.”
Rebecca Maciver, 8, thought it was “amazing” to see the royals and Countess Sophie was “really nice. She added: “I told her we usually go to Tolsta beach with the Sunday school. The countess said “we were really lucky” to get off school.
