Wheelie bin offence 23/12/12
A youth who allegedly acted violently towards a wheelie bin has spent the night in
a police cell.
The 20-year-old was arrested over his behaviour after punching and kicking over the
waste disposal bin in Point Street, in Stornoway town centre around 2am on Sunday
morning.
He is likely to be offered the option of a fixed penalty fine of £50 which will avoid
a court appearance.
