Friday 9th September Stornoway

Stornoway Lunar Walk 2011, 10k. 9pm from Perceval Square Car Park. Pre-warm up zumba dance at 8.30pm. Women and men invited to don decorated bras and t-shirts and walk in aid of local Cancer Research branch.

Junior football competition, Smith Avenue Astroturf 10.30am to 2pm. 4-aside for Primary 1-4 competition with a mix of girls and boys in each team, £5 entry. 7-aside for Primary 5-7 & Secondary competitions Mixed teams, £10 entry. New piping school. Induction and Enrolment for term 1 (Sep - Dec) on Monday 19th September at the Lewis Retirement Centre at 7-9pm. Piping classes from 7-9pm at the Laxdale Hall from 26th Sept. £50 per term of 10 weeks. All ages and all levels welcome

The Daliburgh Jog Scotland Group annual 10K race at 11am. Registration at Daliburgh School from 10.15am. £5 entry. A medal for all finishers. Teas etc in the school afterwards.
