New caravan site for Vatersay 4/9/11
A new caravan and camp site is being established on a croft at Uidh on Vatersay.
The facility which has received planing permission would incorporate stances for tents and 16 touring caravans, two static caravans, and a facilities block.
A number of objectors believed the proposal was too large in scale. They maintained it was badly sited and does not fit in the landscape.
