Investigation into teenager’s death 30/11/11
Police are continuing their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the unexplained death of a young male in the Steinish area of Stornoway.
No formal identification has yet been established, however police believe the body to be that of missing teenager Liam Aitchison. Liam’s family are being kept informed and supported by officers.
Area Commander Chief Inspector Gordon MacLeod said: “We would like to thank the public for all their assistance in our efforts to trace Liam.
“We are keen to piece together Liam’s movements over the past week and I would be grateful if anyone has any information at all to contact us at Stornoway Police Station on 01851 702222.”
