First year hairdressing students at the Lews Castle College raised £100 for the Stornoway RNLI lifeboat.
The students raised the funds by holding a raffle for a Christmas hamper.
They visited the lifeboat station to hand over the cheque and were given a guided tour of both the base and the lifeboat.
