£1,000 penalty for assault 4/1/13
Colin Macleod of 7 Sheshader, Point, has been ordered to pay £1,000 compensation
to a man he assaulted.
His victim broke his ankle after Macleod gave him a punch on the face causing him
to fall badly.
Macleod,45, pleaded guilty to the offence which occurred on 16 December on North
Beach Street, Stornoway.
At Stornoway Sheriff Court recently he was allowed to pay the compensation in instalments.
