Strikers march over pensions threat 29/11/11
Western Isles Trades Council is holding a march and rally in support of the ‘Fair Pensions for All’ campaign on Wednesday.
The march leaves from the Acres Car Park (opposite the Comhairle offices) and proceed down James St, along North Beach, Castle St and South Beach to Perceval Square where a rally will take place around 11am
A trades council spokesman said: “We are expecting a large turnout by the members of the trade unions that we represent.”
He added: “We would welcome all members of the public who wish to come along and show their support “
