Prison for drink driver          2/9/11

Jail for A Northern Irish man has been sent to jail for four months for drink driving.

Martin McNabb of 10 Duncone Crescent, Toome Bridge, Northern Ireland, also received a five year driving ban when he appeared at Stornoway Sheriff Court on Thursday.

The 42-year-old previously admitted having an alcohol count of 78 mg - twice the legal limit - while driving a Ford Transit van at Bayhead, Stornoway, on July 9th.

He also drove the vehicle while disqualified.
