Thief sets stolen car ablaze           14/1/13             

A thief stole a car and set fire to it in the Lews Castle Grounds early on Monday.

The vehicle has been gutted by flames and abandoned in the Willowglen area of the grounds.

Stornoway police are investigating the incident. They say the vehicle appears to have been stolen overnight into Monday.
