Plenty of signs but lack of direction              10/11/11

Sirs,

There are many signs in both English and Gaelic and the country is polluted with such stuff,  enough to mesmerise anyone, but what if all the Doric people, and the Polish, French, Spanish etc demand signs for themselves as well?

Human rights or something they call it, is it not? We could try individual rights instead, that one is definitely worth thinking about.

In spite of signs, I believe direction rather than signs are our problem in general - what direction and which direction we take and why we take it.

I believe that the powers that be have opened a can of worms which may well lead to a no ending problem if all other ethnic groups take up their demands.

In life we need people who are astute, and have good perception and common sense. It is easy enough to come with ideas and rush into implementing them but very often the wisdom and foresight is not part of the the plan.

We have already more than enough signs, speed limit signs for example, but does anyone actually take any heed?

No. Adding signs and rules is not the way. Careful and wise foresight is far more necessary along with less of the tangible philosophy that seems to rule people lives 24/7.

Lets head for the right direction, and quite often you do not even need a sign to do that. Not even in Gaelic, a bhalaich.
