There will be a spectacular parade of sail as most of the tall traditional sailing ships depart Storoway harbour on Saturday afternoon.
The Europa and the Pelican are due to leave at 3pm. The Russian flagged Mir (pictures above) is to set off about half an hour later.
Some of the vessels may be open to the public in the earlier in the day.
There will be a lifeboat and helicopter display in the harbour at 10.30am -
The Port Authority will close Goat Island causeway to traffic on Saturday afternoon to allow spectators to view the Parade of Sail as some of the ships leave. Most of the ships will depart one after the other.
