Cllr Norman A Macdonald, Chair of Sgoiltean Ùra said "These works complete the construction element of the new schools project which has been completed on time and on budget.

“Our aim all along was to build state of the art schools fit for the 21st century – these works bring that aim to completion save for the playing fields at The Nicolson and Daliburgh which will be ready in Autumn 2014.”

The new playing field will be seeded this Spring and should be playable by summer 2014.
