Mod Gold Medal concert 21/9/11
On Saturday the 1st of October 2011 the Caberfeidh Hotel in Stornoway will be the venue for an evening of musical excellence, entitled Òir is Òrain (Gold and Songs).
Present will be former Royal National Mod Gold and Traditional Gold Medallists who are resident in the Western Isles.
The event, which is being organised by the Mòd nan Eilean Siar 2011 local committee, will begin at 8pm.
Performances have been confirmed by the following medallists; Cathie Ann MacLeod, Donald Angie Matheson, Iain MacAulay, Iain MacKay, Jenna Cumming, John Murdo Morrison, John 'Tonkan' MacDonald, Margaret McLeman, Murdo Dan MacDonald, Murdo John MacKenzie and Ronnie Murray.
Concert organiser Amy MacAulay said: "We thought this was an excellent way to start

Tickets for the event are priced at £10 and are available from An Comunn Gàidhealach in Perceval Square in Stornoway or can alternatively be purchased on the door on the evening.
