Teenager reported missing 28/11/111
A missing person’s appeal has been launched to trace a 16-
Liam Aitchison disappeared on the day he was due to be sentenced for hampering emergency workers.
He was last seen on the evening of Wednesday 23 November in the Anderson Road area of Stornoway.
He is described as about 5'9" medium build with short brown hair, last seen wearing
dark tracksuit bottoms, white Scotland zip-
Northern Constabulary urges anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Liam Aitchison they should contact Stornoway Police on 0845 600 5703.
Liam Aitchison was brought up in the Southern Isles and relatively recently relocated to Lewis.
He failed to turn up at Stornoway Sheriff Court for sentencing on Wednesday morning. Last month Aitchison need a large number of stitches for cuts to his face after the Chevrolet Matiz hatchback in which he was a passenger crashed at Barvas, Lewis. His girlfriend was also injured in the smash.
