Live and let live 21/11/11
Sirs,
Having lived on Lewis for years and now happily settled on the Isle of Lismore I am often asked if Lewis and Harris are as homophobic as the press make them appear.
Thankfully I can say in all honesty the vast majority of people are not. That they are happy to live and let live. Sadly a twisted minority seem overly interested in other people's relationships.
If others do not object to your rigid form of Christianity which seems to neatly avoid any acceptance of Jesus' messages of love and tolerance then perhaps you should leave other people's marriages alone.
Personally as long as people are happy, kind and tolerant who are we to judge who they love or marry. And incidentally there seems to me something very unhealthy about such an obsession with what other folk do in the bedroom.
