Man in hospital after kitchen fire 14/1/13
An elderly man was taken to hospital for smoke inhalation after a fire in the kitchen
of his single storey house in Seilibost, Harris, in the early hours of Sunday.
The pensioner was kept in the Stornoway hospital overnight for observation.
The man was out of the property and the fire extinguished before the Leverburgh and
Tarbert fire crews arrived after the alarm was raised at 1.45am.
