Warning of strong winds pushing high tides 25/1/13
Spray and waves may break over causeways and coastal roads down the west side of
the Uists during Saturday’s early morning high tide warns environmental agency SEPA.
The tide peaks between 5am to 6am in the Southern Isles tomorrow. The amber warning
coincides with strong westerly winds in the morning.
Winds may increase to 50 mph gusts at the evening high tide.
