High petrol prices 22/9/11

May I, again, after numerous letters on this subject in the past, totally agree with Mr Malone's comments.
Nothing has or is being done in the interests of the population of the Western Isles, by our MPs and MSPs who have been elected to represent the people of these islands.
It's a national disgrace and if action isn't forthcoming very soon, they will be without a job. Like some workers, paying these extortionate, unjustified prices, could see another "clearance" of population as unaffordability is a reality.
Like most things these days, living in these islands is not an attractive option
to potential new employees, not withstanding fuel prices but other factors too. i.e.
property rental, food prices.
