Protest against high fuel prices     4/10/11

A protest against high fuel prices in the Western Isles is being organised for this Friday.

The public display against expensive petrol and diesel is being arranged as the boss of wholesaler Scottish Fuel meets MP Angus Macneil in Stornoway over the issue.

Campaigner Erica Macdonald told Hebrides News that it was important for “as many supporters as possible to turn up so we can let them know we are not happy with the prices they charge.”

The Protest for Fair Fuel campaign has set up a Facebook page at www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=254177467953473
