Superunknowns rock for charity                       14/12/11

A fundraising gig is being held in aid of the Help for Heroes charity this weekend.

The one-off show features the The Superunknownsan - a band mad eup of an eclectic mix of island singers and musicians.

Tickets for the Friday night event at Stornoway Golf Club are priced £5 and are available from Delights Delicatessen. There will be a limited number available on the door. The gig starts at 9.30pm and goes on until 1am.

All cash raised on the night goes to the charity which supports wounded servicemen injured in war when serving their country.

The Superunknowns compromises Iain Macsween (HVR / Kroftwerk), Robert Macleod (Catch 22), Dave Young (HVR), David ‘Doily’ Macdonald (Our Small Capital), Chris Martin (Our Small Capital) and Fiona Mackenzie (The Open Day Rotation).

Sean Harrison will be making a cameo appearance, and the sound is being provided by Keith Morrison of Wee Studios.
