Ferry disruptions 24/1/13
High winds and rough seas threaten to delay Western Isles ferries on Friday.
The Stornoway freight vessel will be stuck in port overnight.
The MV Finlaggan faces possible disruption to her route between Skye, Lochmaddy and
Tarbert .
Friday’s South Uist and Barra outward sailing is cancelled as the MV Clansman will
be weather bound in Castlebay tonight. The ferry loaded extra lorries with essential
supplies from the mainland this afternoon.
