Emergency services charity football match 15/9/11
The annual charity match between the Western Isles police and fire services is taking place this Saturday.
Kick off is at 3pm. There is no set admission fee but donations are being collected.
All funds raised from the match will be passed to Crossroads Lewis which provides practical help to any carer in the Isle of Lewis, regardless of age, disability or illness of the person being cared for.
The charity aims to prevent carers from becoming ill through exhaustion and therefore unable to carry on caring, by providing the same care as that provided by the family.
