Cookery event raises cash for Norgrove charity 13/7/11
Karen Ferguson of Garrabost, Lewis, recently hosted a cookery demonstration and afternoon tea at her home. She held the event in aid of the Linda Norgrove Foundation.
The Foundation was set up by Linda's parents John and Lorna following the loss of
their daughter in Afghanistan when she was killed during the failed rescue attempt
by US special forces in October 2010.
The Foundation looks to continue the work that
Linda Norgrove was doing and aims to specifically help women and children who have
been affected by the war in Afghanistan.
Karen raised a fantastic £410 for the Foundation.
