Man dies after empty van rolls into him 28/3/13
A local man has been killed in a tragic accident after his parked van rolled into
him today.
It is understood the man had been driving but stepped out of vehicle briefly at Ford
Terrace in Creagorry, Benbecula late morning.
He suffered fatal injuries when the empty van rolled off and collided into him.
The emergency services were alerted at 11.40am. Ambulance, police and Benbecula fire
crew attended at the scene.
The road policing unit from Dingwall are currently conducting a full investigation
into the circumstances.
