Bayhead Post Office not to move 31/1/13
A bid to close the Bayhead Post Office in Stornoway and transfer it to Engebret’s Filling Sataion on Sandwick road have been halted.
The post office within the Trading Post premises will remain where it is the Post Office has confirmed.
A Post Office spokesperson said: “The Post Office has reviewed the proposal taking into account a wide range of factors including the responses received as part of the consultation process and the views expressed at the public meeting.
