Teenager seriously hurt in car crash 23/10/11
A teenager has been serious injured in a car crash on Lewis.
The 15-
She was a passenger in a vehicle which smashed by Barvas Free Church on the west side of the island late on Saturday night.
Only one vehicle was involved in the accident which occurred just before 10.45pm.
A 16-
Paramedics treated both casualties on the scene and they were rushed to hospital in Stornoway.
The road was shut for some time and traffic was also stopped from going across the Barvas moor road.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may have information on the accident to contact Stornoway Police on 01851 702222.
