Massage calls                    3/2/11

A Stornoway man who held a stream of raunchy telephone conversations with staff at a luxury massage parlour in Manchester ended up in court when they complained.

James Mackenzie was “being led on” by the ladies at the Georgian Massage Parlour in Oldham, Greater Manchester, lawyer  Kevin Macpherson told Stornoway Sheriff Court yesterday (wed).

The 55-year-old of 68 Perceval Road, Stornoway, believed them when they promised to come on holiday with him in the Hebrides.

Given the offer, he thought he “should keep in touch,” said the solicitor but “they were only having fun with him.”

Fiscal David Teale explained the parlour originally complained to police about the high volume of calls Mackenzie was making but officers later discovered he was using obscene language.

Mackenzie pointed out to police that “they were saying naughty things to me as well.”

Mackenzie pleaded guilty to making indecent or obscene phone calls to the premises on 15th and 16th January.

Sheriff David Sutherland continued his bail and deferred sentence for six months to prove he could be of good behaviour.
