Stornoway lifeboat went to the aid of a disabled yacht on Monday.

 

The vessel - with two people onboard - suffered a fouled propeller and was drifting near Scalpay.

 

The lifeboat launched at 2.10pm and met the casualty two miles north east of Scalpay.

 

The stricken yacht was towed to Stornoway Harbour, after a six hour mission for the lifeboat.
