A woman has been taken to hospital following what police called a "large disturbance" in Lewis.
A door and window was smashed in the incident at an address in Maryhill, in the Marybank area, just outside Stornoway.
A number of police officers and paramedics attended at the scene after 7am this morning (Tues).
Police remained at the house for many hours later.
