Woman sent string of abusive texts 31/3/14
A woman who texted offensive and menacing messages has been required to attend behaviour
improvement sessions under social work supervision.
Procurator fiscal David Teale told Stornoway Sheriff Court that a female received
a series of nasty texts last September.
Police investigated and traced them to Aimee Bell of 92 Westview Terrace, Stornoway.
The 24-year-old admitted sending the texts.
On Friday, sheriff David Sutherland ordered Bell to undertake a structured deferred
sentence which involves a programme looking at issues around the offending behaviour.
She will return to court in September.
