Woman bit on face

A man injured a woman when he bit her on the face, Stornoway Sheriff Court has been told.

Samuel Jones also punched and slapped her.

The 22-year-old of Stornoway pleaded guilty by letter to the assault charge.

Sentence was deferred to a later date.
