One of the largest sailing cruise ships in the world, called in at Stornoway today.
The 14,745-ton motor sailing yacht, 'Wind Surf' is visiting Stornoway today.
The five-masted vessel anchored outside Arnish and many of the 250 passengers and
200 crew were ferried ashore on launches. Groups enjoyed coach tours around Lewis
and Harris and shopping around the town.
The 162-metre-long vessel departed for Orkney in the evening.
Wind Surf is powered by electric-diesel engines and seven triangular, self-furling,
computer-operated sails. She can make up to15 knots wind and engine assisted.
