Wild weather due to “erratic” cold front 2/10/14
A storm set to affect the Western Isles is due to an active cold front reaching the northwest of Scotland tonight, said the Met Office.
The band of wild weather will move erratically southeastwards during Friday bringing heavy rain and in the northwest, gales or severe gales for a time.
For the Hebrides, storm force winds are expected in places creating very rough seas.
The worst of the weather is expected to affect Uist and Barra.
