Residents in the Westview Terrace area of Stornoway are being asked for their views over an unused, empty piece of ground.

At the moment the ground is affected by dog fouling.

Cllr Gordon Murray said the grassland area between Westview Terrace, Kennedy Terrace and Maclennan Place potentially could be brought to life for the community.

Proposals including a playpark, seating area or garden.

Residents are urged to complete a very short survey to indicate their preferred use of the ground.

The survey at www.surveymonkey.co.uk ends on January 31st.
