The consultation period will run until September 20, which is the closing date for comments.
A public meeting with be held in the Clinical Skills Area of Western Isles Hospital on September 1st (with a videolink to Uist and Barra Hospital) as part of this process.
NHS Western Isles Chief Executive Gordon Jamieson commented: “This is an important plan which will help sustain our local language and culture. I would encourage members of the public to have a look at the plan and to make comments on its contents.”
