The seven regional list candidates elected to the Scottish Parliament were:

Douglas Ross, Scottish Conservative

Rhoda Grant, Scottish Labour

Edward Mountain, Scottish Conservative

Donald Cameron, Scottish Conservative

John Finnie, Scottish Greens

Maree Todd, SNP

David Stewart, Scottish Labour

Western Isles voting for the regional list for the Scottish Parliament. The Western Isles votes for the regional list were:

   RISE Respect, Independence, Socialism and Environmentalism - 54 (0% share of the local vote)

    Scottish Christian Party - 1,238 (9% share)

    Scottish Conservative  -1,522 (12%)

   Scottish Green Party - 624 (5%)

   Scottish Labour Party - 3,061 (23%)

   Scottish Liberal Democrats - 280 (2%)

    SNP - 6, 024 (46%)

    Solidarity -   57 (0%)

   UKIP -  260 (2%)

   STOCKAN, James Wilson Independent - 113 (1%)

There were 39 spoilt ballot slips. Within the Western Isles, some 13,272 votes were cast for the regional list. Local turnout was 61.18%

Highlands and Islands The turnout for the regional list across the whole of the Highlands and Islands was 59.1%. Votes given were:

   RISE Respect, Independence, Socialism and Environmentalism - 889

   Scottish Christian Party - 3,407

   Scottish Conservatives- 44,693

   Scottish Green Party - 14,781

   Scottish Labour Party - 22,894

   Scottish Liberal Democrats - 27,223

   SNP   - 81,600

   Solidarity  - 793

   UKIP - 5,344
