Nominations are being sought for the Western Isles Dementia Friendly Community Awards.
There are separate categories for each island group, Lewis, Harris, Uist/ Benbecula and Barra, in recognition for good practice across the islands
Any business or community group which are signed up as part of the Remoage Dementia Friendly communities initiative can be put forward.
Nominations should be emailed to Marion MacInnes at mmacinnes@alzscot.org, giving reasons how people with dementia and their carers are supported. Nominations are open until Tuesday.
