Wednesday early morning bus services suspended during storm

Due to expected adverse weather conditions no Western Isles public bus services will operate before 09.55am on Wednesday morning.

Bus services will be reviewed by 9.30am

W1 Ness - to be reviewed for services to resume at 10:30 or 13:50 with the Lionel to Stornoway service. (looking at the forecast this is likely to be 13:50).

W2 Westside Clockwise - to be reviewed for services to start from South Shawbost to Stornoway at 10:46, if this is not possible services will be revised to start at 13:05 from Stornoway to Carloway.

W2 Westside Anti-Clockwise - to be reviewed for service to start at 09:56 from Upper Carloway, if this is not possible then service will be reviewed to start from Stornoway to Shawbost at 13:45.

W3 No Morning services, review for afternoon services and dependent on W2 connecting services being available.

W4 No Morning services, review for afternoon services and dependent on W2 connecting services being available.

W5 Review for service to start in Upper Bayble at 10:50 and Flesherin at 11:30.

W5a Review for services to start for Back at Vatisker for 10:54 and Tolsta at 11:40.

W8 Review to start from Ranish at either 09:50 or 12:25 (looking at the forecast this is likely to be 12:25).

W16, W17 and W18 - Service likely to be subject to major disruption and intending passengers should monitor D A Travel social media pages or contact the operator. The main concern being high winds on causeways.
