Stornoway Town Hall is back in action after its roof was damaged in a storm last Thursday.
High winds and torrential rain battered the islands during the period of bad weather.
A leak in the town hall roof resulted in rain water coming into the building.
A consultation event for a proposed wind development at Eishken on Lewis was affected.
With just an hour’s notice the organisers were forced to find an alternative venue.
The event which was due to commence at 4pm was urgently transferred to the nearby Lanntair arts centre.
Temporary repairs have taken place to patch up the roof with the council undertaking longer lasting work on the roof when the weather allows.
A comhairle spokesman said: “Temporary measures were carried out following water ingress at the end of last week.
“Weather dependant repairs are ongoing to achieve a permanent fix.
“All areas are back in operation.”
