Gales are forecast to affect the Western Isles this weekend.
Frontal zones edging in from the Atlantic will bring three or four days of strong winds to the islands.
Rough seas and a heavy swell may disrupt ferry services.
Wind speeds are expected to increase to gale eight over Friday, occasionally severe gale nine in South Uist and Barra.
Saturday will see blustery conditions and rough seas persisting.
A further gale is forecast on Sunday, touching storm force in parts of the Southern Isles before reducing to force eight overnight.
