Rhoda Grant - Scottish Labour Party

Ken Macleod - Lib Dem

All but Mr Cormack are present at the count

 

23.00 Ballot boxes from the Stornoway North and South being counted. Boxes from Point, Westside Lewis and Ness have arrived.

 

10.55pm  Local turnout at the last Scottish elections (2011) was 60%. The figure for the 2015 UK ballot was 73.42%

00.02am Harris boxes have arrived in the count centre and ballot slips are being verified

 

23.59pm All 26 Uist and Barra boxes being loaded onto a chartered plane at Balivanich Airport

Turnout: 61.14%. 59 spoilt papers

SNP and Labour vote down since 2011 election. Tories clinch their best local result for Scottish Parliament elections.
