A section of the main route between Stornoway and Lochs was blocked for a period yesterday following a car crash.
Emergency services attended the incident which occurred around 8.25pm on Monday evening.
Two vehicles collided on the A859 about four miles south of Stornoway, near to the junction to the Creed Park recycling centre.
The road re-opened after a temporary closure following the crash.
