Vatersay Hall toilets 19/10/14
Sir,
Thank you for reporting that Vatersay is to have it's 'toilet grant' reinstated.
Vatersay Hall toilet was not closed on loss of the grant but has has been kept open round the clock, 365 days a year, funded by the community association, money which was needed for other projects within the community.
Vatersay is always busy with walkers, cyclists, campers and families enjoying the glorious beaches.
For many, it is the staring point for the journey through the islands from south to north, but this year has been busier than ever, with the publicity and sign posting of the Hebridean Way.
So thank you CNES for the decision, Cllr Donald Manford and Alasdair Allan MSP and
the many visitors who wrote in our support.
