Lochboisdale fire crew tackled a van fire in South Uist today.
The fire service said the engine of the vehicle caught alight and was destroyed by flames.
The incident occurred near St Peter's church in Daliburgh shortly after 8am.
Lochboisdale fire crew swiftly put out the fire on arrival at the scene.
