Police are alerting motorists they could face a £50 fine if they drive on Point Street in Stornoway without a permit.

Between 10.30am to 6pm daily, no unauthorised vehicles can drive or park on Point Street unless they hold a permit to allow for unloading.

Police ask that vehicles do not go onto Point Street.

If non-permit holders are found in the town centre street unlawfully, drivers face a fixed penalty fine.
