Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is reviewing its new bus timetable arrangements in the Uists.
The new timetable came into effect earlier this year and has caused major issues for many people living in the area and reliant on these services to go about their day to day lives.
A council spokesperson explained: "It has been agreed that all feedback -
"Whilst it was recognised that there had been some negative feedback through various avenues, including social media, there had also been an initial indication from the service operators that they had experienced an increase in revenue in ticket sales in the period since the beginning of the contracts."

MSP Alasdair Allan commented:“Whilst canvassing in Uist during the election campaign it was very obvious that there were significant levels of frustration within those communities about the new bus timetable and I raised this with the Comhairle.
“I am pleased to see the Comhairle have responded quickly and committed to a substantial
review of the alterations that were made. At the moment the shortcomings in the service
in Uist are having a profound impact on many people travelling to their place of
employment, education, doctor or after-
“I understand the review will mainly be conducted through community councils and so I would urge constituents who have been affected by the change in services to engage with, and make their views known to, their respective community councils.”
