Community service for telephone offence 7/5/14
Angus James Macintyre of 6 North Lochneynort, South Uist, has been sentenced to community
service after pleading guilty to behaving in a threatening manner.
Lochmaddy Sheriff Court heard that Macintyre came home drunk on a Friday afternoon
and created a disturbance including unplugging a telephone from the wall while his
partner was trying to contact a friend.
Sheriff Andrew Miller imposed a two-year alcohol treatment order at the court last
week.
The sheriff also sentenced Macintyre to undertake 140 hours of unpaid community service
work.
