Due to a forecast of adverse weather conditions in Lochmaddy the last timetabled ferry tonight (Monday) from Skye has been cancelled.

MV Hebrides will remain in Uig overnight and undertake an additional 5am sailing to Uist tomorrow morning where she will resume her regular schedule.

A band of wet and windy weather moving northward off the west coast of Ireland will reach the Western Isles this evening. Wind speeds may touch force eight gale level in exposed places accompanied by rough seas.
