Two candidates have thrown their hats into the ring for the Benbecula and North Uist
council by-
Roslyn Macpherson of Balivanich is to fight the seat for the SNP.
Andrew Walker of Kyles Flodda is standing as a independent candidate.
Voters go to the polls on Thursday 26 March.
The seat became vacant after Archie Campbell stood down following 16 years as councillor.
